GDC Award 2021奖杯造型在经典竹子奖杯基础上重新进行了优化升级。作为新奖杯登场的重要场合，本届颁奖典礼视觉形象从奖杯形态出发，选用传达信息的重要载体——文字为元素，通过不同文字间的排列组合，并以对应每个类别不同的呈现方式，产生出九个多元的动态画面，最终形成一套独特的颁奖典礼视觉系统。在一定程度上，这既是对前期以“自我生长”为概念的赛事推广形象的呼应，同时，亦是对GDC Award开放平台的又一本质体现。
The shape of the GDC Award 2021 trophy is re-optimized and upgraded on the basis of the classic bamboo trophy. As an important occasion for the debut of the new trophy, the visual image of this awards ceremony starts from the shape of the trophy. It selects text as an important carrier for conveying information, through the arrangement and combination of different texts, and uses different presentation methods corresponding to each category. Nine diverse dynamic images are produced, which ultimately form a unique visual system for the award ceremony. To a certain extent, this is not only an echo of the promotion image of the previous event with the concept of "self-growth", but also another essential manifestation of the GDC Award open platform.
